The field was 40 that started with decent pace. We (Chris Cornetto)jumped out front on lap three and we both stayed away for 2-3 laps and got caught. I needed to recover and sat in for the rest of the crit and saved the attack for the last lap. I went with a half lap to go and swung out off the front but way left so I was really nervous that I wasn’t going to get the gap. I looked back on the last turn and I had a nice gap but they were chasing, watts were 910 and HR 189 just a couple of beats from my max…….
